Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) for pallets is an automated system that efficiently stores and retrieves goods, replacing manual warehousing tasks. The storage and retrieval machine (SRM) operate as a crane that moves vertically within a single aisle.
ASRS racking offers compact storage in high bay warehouses where goods need to be accessed quickly. Pallets are retrieved efficiently for fast order fulfilment through software integration. Orders can be consolidated for shipment, streamlining warehouse operations.
ASRS rack structures are engineered with Dexion 808 to optimise space in high-bay warehouses. The system is manufactured with precision and is fully bolted to the floor slab. This offers completely straight and robust racking catering to weight of goods, crane forces as well as local criteria such as environmental loads, soil types and seismic zone requirements.
The 808 been independently tested by specialist structural engineers at leading Australian universities. Dexion also offers full product engineering certification and detailed traceability, which underpins the product’s structural integrity and the safety of any installation.
